O.k. , here are 2 new pages I was able to complete this week, that is going to be my goal for now on, 2 pages a week..anyway the first one is of Nicky's first tooth, I like it, love the stars tried not to jazz it up to much, what do you think...the next is not my favorite, after putting it together I looked at it and decided that I am not to fond of the ABC's in the middle, my dh agreed, but I needed something to fill the space and thats what I came up with, give me your opinion..check out next week's postings and have a wonderful week everyone..

Here's a page that was done at one of Suzanne's Fun Shops last year, I know, what took me so long to get it done, well it was, I just had to find the right pictures for it...she used stamps and paper from the Angel Comany and the lettering from a Cricut cartridge..pretty neat huh...have a happy week and I will post again soon.

Monster Jam and Anniversary

O.k. as promised here is my lasted post, a scrapbook page and a anniversary card...the scrapbook page is well over due as you can see the date on it is 2008, it was the monster jam show the boys went to see back in feburary of 2008, and the card is an anniversary card I made for my dh I used the hinge stamp and the anniversary stamp from TAC..look for future post, and mayeveryone have an awesome day...

It's Been A Long Time

I know, I know, it's been such a long time since my last post and I am sure I have lost some followers and now I am hoping to get them back...just been so busy over the summer and now with school back I can actually get some scrapbooking and card making done...I am also going to do a blog candy coming soon..so stay posted, candy and rules will be announced..Here is a scrap page I did last week, actually it was sitting on my desk all summer waiting for it to be finished, it is a picture of the boys over the summer in the florida keys, they loved their summer and we had so much fun. I used sand papaer for their names and stamped the lettering on the sandpaper, I love this technique, I also used a stamp set with some real cute sayings to go along withthe theme, not sure which set it is from. Thanks for looking and I will continue to post regularly.

Sorry I haven't posted anything lately, been busy doing summer things and just lounging around now that I do not have to get up everyday at 6:30 to take the kiddies to school...anyway, I got those really cool car stamps and I just love them, I made my nephew who turned 15 a birthday card and my dh a father's day card with them...also is a picture of my little kindergartener graduating..he is getting so big..well hope you all have an awesome week and I will post again soon..

Suzanne had her funshop last week and I was unable to attend, but she was kind enough to save me the project and some scraps so I could do it at home, her funshop was a fathers day photo frame which I am posting because I know that my DH does not check my blog, and then I made a scrapbook page out of the leftover scraps, I love this paper so colorful and so many was you can use it... Teacher Appreciation Week

O.k., I know I am a week late posting this but my mom was here and I had no time to post..so here it is, we had teacher appreciation week last week and everyday we were instructed to bring in something, so day one was candy day, my boys picked out their teachers favorite candy and of course I made wrappers for them, then day two was flower day so each boy brought in flowers, day three was school supplies, because our school does not supply these items for the kids my kids brought in tissues and sticky tack, day four was have your child make a card, of course I forgot to take a pic of the cards they made, but they sure were cute and they really made good use of my stickles, day five was gift card day, I opted out and made 20 thank you cards for each teacher, I figured they are going to use them to thank everyone for an awesome week..also I posted a pic of Christoper getting honor roll again, so proud of our smart boy.. also posted the bday card I made for Christoper, he had a small sleep over and we went to the movies and dinner with his friends...have a great week...

Creative Vacation

Here are some cards I did quickly, might I add, some of these items are from what I won on Barb's Blog candy, I will post more next week..I am really not happy with them, I think I have a creative block going on, so I am going to take a Creative Vacation from my scraproom and go to the Keyes for a week and try and regroup...The first card is a halloween card, I love the image just not anything else a bout it to blah...the next one is a cow card, I used my new fun flaux, that stuff is so cool love it...and the last one is a angel, I absoulty love this image, I am going to order the set from my angel the next fun shop...what do you think, let me know..see ya in a week..

Thats right, Halloween..I am so far behind on my scrap pages, and now I am trying to play catch up...here is a halloween page I put together, I tried to make a spiderweb on the left hand side, I think it worked out, what do you think??? Well, some exciting news...I won Barb's blog candy, so excited about that and can not wait to receive it..maybe I will get lucky and win Suzanne's too..I had my monthly funshop at my house today and we made these really cute cans that you can put things to do or remember in it..real cute, I made mine for the boys, of course, and I made a chore bucket, I made 6 sticks with chores on them and everyday they have to pull three sticks and those are their chores for the day, when the boys came home today they were so excited and couldn't wait to pull their sticks and do their chores (really they were geniunely excited)... also made my monthly challenge and made my mom here bday present for it, Suzanne gives us each a challenge every time we have a funshop and we have to come up with something to do with the items for the next funshop..this challenge she gave us felt coasters with flowers on them, I decided to cut mine up and use it for a photo frame for a clip board and then use the left over flowers as embellishments on the board, I hope my mom likes it, so if you read this Mom Happy Birthday, it's going in the mail tommorrow..along with it is a cow card, I just love my cows..and my spiral clips..hope you all have wonderful day..I only need 3 more people for my challenge, please join in anyone, please..

Cows and Frogs

Here are a few cards I made over the weekend using my new stamps from TAC, I just love my cows, they are so fun to color and the frogs are so cute..., I used stickes on the flowers for the cows and I used a green maker to color the frog in...let me know whatcha think...have a nice week..

So here are a few updates, I made a card for my friend who gave me some clothes that was well needed, couldn't wait to use my cow stamps for someone and she got the first card, and loved it, and then I had a baby shower to go to so I made a card using Vicki's ribbon technique, loved it... and then I also had time to make a scrap page of my boys together, I hand made the letters and cut them out..let me know what you think...

Eating My Popcorn in the Shade

So we go to Disney this weekend to see some friends visiting from NY and on our trip Nicky had the best experience any child could get...we were sitting outside a ride waiting for our party to get off and Nicky was just sitting there eating his popcorn, when all of a sudden the trees behind him start to move, not knowing what was going on this tree step out from the wooded area and right over the top of Nicky, there must have been about 30 to 40 people that just stopped in their tracks and started to snap pics of my little one being shaded but what we now call the tree lady..she was so well camoflauged that you never knew she was real until she started to move...how cool was Nick who just sat there and let everyone take his pic...love this moment, definately will find this in my scrapbook album...remember to join as a follower so I know you are here..have a wonderful day..

Love Card & Opening Day

I was so busy for opening day at the baseball field that I really had no time to make my DH a valantines card so this one I put together in like 5 minutes and of course I hate it but he loved it, I am definately going to purchase some letter stamps the next time I have a funshop, the only stamp letters I have are from the $1.00 bin at Michaels and they are too small...Opening day went over smoothly, Christopher had a awesome time and they tied their first game 11-11 so they were happy, he is getting so big so fast, Nicky on the other hand was sick for opening day and couldn't join in the fun, but he didn't seem to mind...please join as a follower so I know who is here checking me out..it's easy to do just click and follow the directions...have a awesome day...

Tissue Paper Card

O.k. so we figured out that it is my device drivers that are bad on my computer and not the camera, whatever that means I have no clue, so I guess we will be getting a new computer, in the mean time I am able to scan cards on my computer, they may not look like the actual finished product in real life but it is the best I can do for now, I have so many scrap pages to post but my scanner only scans 8 1/2 x 11...so this card I made from tissue paper, you can get the instructions from Kellyrae at Red Hot Saasy Rubber Artists but what a cool idea, I have some other cards that I want to make but that I will have to post at a later date...enjoy...remember please leave a comment so I know you were here..

o.k. so I got my computer back and suppossedly everything was okay and I was able to load up some pics but then it stopped working, so once again I am out a computer, I think what I need to do now is buy a brand new one, it just kills me that I have to shell out for this expense all because of one small era...so I will share with you what I was able to load...the first pic is a card I made for a friend that just had a baby, the next frew pics are of the boys at summer vacation at Sebation State Inlet park and the last pic is of the boys strawberry picking from 2 years a go, I do have more to show you check out my next post...

Still Trying

O.k., so may of you know that I was down a computer for awhile, then I got a temporary new on that did the job for a bout 2 weeks, then I got my old one fixed, so now that I have my old one back I am trying to load up all my software and I was somewhat successful until I tried to download all my pics and the computer for whatever reason does not recognize my camera and says Camera is in Use...I really don't get it..and I am about to toss this computer out the window and forget my hole blog thing, but I am patient and I am going to send the camera and the computer to my tech guy and hopefully he can fix it..because I have so many nice scrap pages I did that I want to share with all of you..anyway, I hope you all had a happy new year and a great Christmas..please be patient and keep checking back, I promise I will have new pics by the end of next week, chow for now...

O.k., I know I am a little behind, but most of you know that I was down a computer for a whole month. It's true you really don't know what you got until its gone, I am so glad to have it back, so here are some awesome pics from Thanksgiving, we had soooo much fun, I think this is going to be a yearly event, I don't think I would want to do Thankgiving anywhere else but on the water at our campsite enjoying what nature is really about. Christmas Planners

I spent most of the day yesterday making these fun Christmas planner's to hand out at my friends Fun Shop today and sadly enough it has been postponed, but I was so excited to share it with everyone I had to post it, so if anyone was going to the funshop this is what I made for you...I got this idea again from Vicki at angel stamper, I just love her ideas, some real cool ones, and she explained how to make them and I gave it a shot and they turned out so cute...can't wait to give them to everyone. Once again it is cold today, woke up this morning and it was 47 degrees out, Yikes...hope you have a great day.

Space Shuttle Launch

Most of you already know that we can see the shuttle launch from our front yard, and let me tell you what a great experience it is to watch it in person, I got some pics that I thought were good but really aren't so what you see is the afterburner of the shuttle right after it lifts off, it still amazes me that only 7 people are on that shuttle and there are millions of people on earth watching them lift off, how cool to be a astronaut..

Blog Challenge

Worth the Wait

WoW, what a busy week I had, not only have I been working doubles, I also have been going to baseball games, going to friends functions, volunteering at the school, and getting ready for halloween, not to mention all the little stuff in between, so with that I am so late at sending out my niece's birthday card I feel terrible, so not like me. I got my new TAC stamps this week and figured I had time to put a quick one together for her, little did I know this would take an hour, so with out further ado, here it is before I mail it. I actually copied this from my TAC book, but I really love my new butterfly stamps and I hope Lexi does too..Chow for Now.

Cold Day In Paradise

So today I woke up and believe it or not it was 49 degrees out, YIKES, way to cold for me, so I thought today would be a great day to catch up on some scrapbooking. So here are 2 pages I completed, one of when we went to MGM (I know now its Hollywood Studios, but that is so hard to fit on a page.) with Chris's Aunt from New York and his distant cousins from Argentina, and the 2nd page is of us at the timeshare we stayed at with Chris's Aunt, Cousins and Mom. We really had a good time and it was nice to have the boys meet there distant cousins that they will probably never see again but will have nice memories of. Hope you stay warm, and enjoy your day.

Learning in Progress

After I made them I realized I should have inked the squares on the baby card and I should have embroidered the edges on the chair card. Get Well Card

As my gift for hosting a fun shop yesterday, Suzanne gave me these really cute stamps that I couldn't wait to use, so I needed a reason to use them. I decided to make our neighbor a get well card and use the stamps, even though it really doesn't say get well, you would have to know our neighbor to understand the sentiment (he is always getting hurt). Anyway I thought it was cute and can't wait for the boys to come home so they can give it to him. New Scrap Pages

O.k., as promised here are some pages I did yesterday after everyone left the fun shop, I had so much fun it inspired me to keep going, so I did a 2 page layout of the baseball games we went to over the summer at Mets Stadium. We pretty much spent most of our summer there, the staff got to know the boys and let them play all the games between innings, clean the field of balls and garabe when the games were over, they met a majority of the players and the players got to know them really well, so they really had a blast, some of the pics you see them standing on the dugouts getting the crowd started doing the YMCA or the Chacha Slide, Nicky was really a ham and the crowd loved him.

Fun Shop Gift

O.k. so today I had my first funshop at my house, and let me tell you it was FUN, we made beautiful Thanksgiving pages, which I will post after thanksgiving when they have pics in them and we learned how to color blend which was a real cool techinque. I made these really cute jars for my party and gave them as favors, I borrowed the idea from Angel Stamper 2 (I say borrowed because steal just doesn't sound right). They are real easy and fun and I just loved the saying that came with it, it goes like this "I started to carve a pumpkin with my carving knife and scoop. But the pumpkin got so scared he took a little poop. It looked so cute and funny, just like a candy treat. So I'm sharing it with you because you are so sweet!" Hope you all enjoyed my blog today. A Few of My favorites

You all know that I loveee to scrapbook, well I do make a page for just about any occasion, and I tell my friends I make them, show them to my kids and hubby and they all go ohh and ahhh and then it goes in a album never to be seen again. So for now on you will all get to see my pages and my cards from this wonderful blog I created, so I thought I would just post a few of my favorites. The first one is the boys baseball team the Muckdogs, I hand sewn the pages with embroidery floss and just love how it really brought out the colors and the theme, the next one is of Christoper getting his face painted in Disney step by step, once again I hand sewn the borders, put some brads and eyelets on the page and stayed with the green theme with the letters, I love how blue Christopher's eyes look in this picture. And the last one is of Nick's VPK graduation, this one I used a white gel pen and dotted around the whole outline to really make it stand out, added some ribbon and stars and stamped his name on the bottom, I also used a stencil to stencil in the title. Nicky's Birthday Cards

O.k., so many of you know that I love to hand make things and so I gave it a whirl on Nick's invites and thank you cards. I think they came out cute, I really like the cupcake invite, but not to pleased with the thank you card, I really don't like the color combination, but it's all trial and error for me, I am sure I will look at these next year and go ewwww... Anyway, leave me a comment on what you think, I always love to here from someone else's view. Oh, I guess I should let you in on what I used to make them, on the cupcake card, the cupcake is a cricut cut and then I stickled the sprinkles and cherry, the "you're invited" was a $1.00 stamp, and the embrodiery floss through eyelets on the tag which was handmade by me, all the cardstock came from Michaels. The thank you is of course a pic of Nick and the ribbon from Michael's .50 cents, the stamp once again $1.00 from Michael's and then I just lifted the "thank you" with a pop up from Stampin up. Oh, Oh, there are 2 pics of Nick, sorry still trying to learn this thing, it won't let me delete the 2nd pic, so if anyone knows how to do this please clue me in..
